Fate of the Known World
The Grand Unification was both beautiful and terrifying to behold. A multi-dimension implosion across both space and time in a kaleidoscope of energy. Rending the very fabric of reality, the Grand Unification gathered together a multitude of alternate realms and times and crushed them together in a moment of sheer terror. The result came to be known as the Grand Unified Universe. The various governments from these alternate realms, found themselves greatly effected and reduced. The Galactic Republic, Galactic Empire and United Federation of Planets found themselves reduced to shades of their former glory. The Mighty Klingon and Romulan Empires brought to their knees. The System Lords of the Goa'uld Empire, The Dominion and the Cylon Empire find their domains now but a fraction of their former might. Meanwhile, others like the Rebel Alliance, The Tau'ri and Earth Alliance find themselves almost at the height of their power. Some, like the Twelve Colonies of Man, Systems Commonwealth, Narn Regime and Twelve Colonies of Kobol find themselves restored to their formerly glory. Elsewhere, threats like the Borg Collective, Wraith Dominion and The Shadows still lurk.
